Wishing to Board an Executive Jet Charter
Before I will tell you one of my wishes, let me share first this bad experience I got in Birmingham International Airport the other Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008. My flight should be around 11:45 am. My friend Dae Loy already called the taxi at around 8am to drive me at 9:30 am to the airport. At around 10:00 am, we were already at Birmingham International Airport. Regular checked-in was done. The allowed check-in luggage is 15 kilos. My small trolley reached 18 kilos so my good friend Dae Loy brought back to his home my extra luggage. Thanks a lot Loy for your help. The hand carry items allowed is 10 kilos. Mine was 10.8 kilos which was also approved. I got a small camera case hanging in my neck (which I also had as I left Hanh Frankfurt airport) , a knitted jacket in my hand and some travel books. I also bought some chocolates in the duty free shop inside the airport which is also allowed to carry inside the aircraft. Security checks are done and finally as I am about to board the aircraft, one employees said that I am not allowed to board the aircraft because of my other things which I stated above. I was really disappointed with it. Imagine, I already paid my ticket back and forth and I was denied boarding because of some small stuffs. The bad thing is that, they allowed other passengers to board in the aircraft which have also small stuffs like what I brought. A very bad customer service!! The worst customer service I had in an airline. It was a cheap flight anyway. But I believed that offering cheap fares would not mean bad customer service. There was really no consideration. From this very bad experience, I told myself not to do it again and if possible never with Ryanair again. Besides that my husband also spend a lot of gasoline when driving and picking me at Hanh Frankfurt airport which is around 5 to 6 hours driving from our place. I would only wish to board an executive jet charter the next time I travel. I believed excellent customer service is the most important of all things in business considering also the comfort and safety while traveling on a plane. The best and the most important thing of all is that I learned from that experience.
