Orchid Flowers for Earth Day
I am finally done watching television. I am now sharing this orchid flowers in celebration of Earth Day today. In my own understanding this day and maybe for the rest of our lives, we must learn how to take care and help conserve Mother Nature not only for ourselves but for the next generations to come. Below is a little excerpt of Earth Day. Let’s continue saving Mother Earth even in our own simple ways.
“Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in held on April 22, 1970. Earth Day is celebrated in spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Earth Day Network, a group that wishes to become the coordinator of Earth Day globally, asserts that Earth Day is now observed on April 22 on virtually every country on Earth.” wikipedia

This kind of orchid reminds me of my sweet childhood. My mom had a collection of different colors and they bloom all year round.
Thanks for sharing.
