An Apple A Day…

Here comes the saying again! An apple a day, keeps the doctor away. Don’t you know that there are around 7,500 varieties of apple and only 40 kinds of it are in the market for consumptions? I did know this after watching a German TV program that featured some things about apple. Eating an apple a day is like taking one a day vitamins. Apple also provides a lot of health benefits like reducing the risk of colon cancer, lung cancer and prostate cancer. It also has a lot of vitamins and minerals like Vitamin A, Riboflavin, Thiamine, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and some other more.

It is also known that the apple trees’ origin is from Western Asia. It is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits in the world. Healthy tip for today is eating an apple a day to keep you fit and healthy. I just ate one!
