The Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany
I had finally visited the capital city of Germany. Berlin is one of the interesting cities to visit in Germany and Europe as well. It is an irony that I just visited this city but was already in other capital cities of Europe like Rome in Italy, Paris in France, Zurich in Switzerland, Prague in Czech Republic, London in England, Brussels in Belgium, Luxembourg, Amsterdam in Netherlands, Vienna in Austria, etcetera and hopefully some other more to come.
One of the main sights we visited in Berlin is the Brandenburg Gate, called in German as Brandenburger Tor. This gate is not only an iconic symbol of Berlin but Germany as a whole. It is even considered as one of the famous landmarks of Europe. It is located at the junction of Unter den Linden and Ebertstrasse. It is only some meters walk from the Reichstag building, the seat of the German Parliament.
the Brandenburger gate in Berlin, Germany during my 3-day visit in Berlin last February 18-20, 2011. I should have look for the best hgh during my visit to Kadewe, the famous shopping mall in Berlin. Special thanks to friends and fellow kababayans Marvin and Arlene for the company and for touring me around during my second day in Berlin. I also had a wonderful night with Chris, a lawyer in Berlin together with his wife Kris. All I can say, I had a great time in Berlin. It was a wonderful and memorable trip.
