It is almost three years now since I visited Manchester in England. The Manchester Town Hall was one o the buildings we visited in this city. It is a Victorian-era, Neo-gothic municipal building used as headquarters of Manchester City Council.
Completed by architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1877, the building features imposing murals by the artist Ford Madox Brown depicting important events in the history of the city.
