Faliraki: The Comeback?

Once the clubbing capital of Europe and famous for its epic nights out, Faliraki has a reputation that precedes it. But while some say that its hedonistic heyday has been and gone, others believe that this feisty town is well and truly making a comeback.

The truth is that Faliraki never really went away. It’s always been there, but other resorts quickly sprang up to share the limelight. Ibiza aside, which still retains its crown as the godfather of clubbing holidays, Faliraki jostled for position with such upstarts as Malia, Kardamena, Kavos and Ayia Napa – and clubbers enjoyed a variety that brought a new holiday hotspot every Summer.

Now after something of a renaissance, Rhodes clubbing holidays are back with a bang – bigger, better and busier than ever before. You’ll find everything from foam parties and karaoke bars to 80s discos and – of course – clubs. Pretty much every taste is catered for so whether you’re a die-hard clubber or you just fancy somewhere a little lively, this clubbing classic certainly won’t disappoint.

Faliraki is all about serious fun. By night, party to the best tunes with world class DJs. By day, sleep it off on the beach. And what a beach! Easily one of the best on the island, this long stretch of golden sand has got plenty of space, stacks of sunbeds and just about every water sport under the sun. From jet skiing to parasailing, banana boats to speed boats – it’s all here ready for the taking. Or if that’s a little too energetic just flake out in the hot, hot sun and soak up some much-missed rays.

So whatever you’re after – whether it’s a trip down memory lane or some knockout nights at the best clubs in the business – Faliraki is definitely back with a bang.

I really laughed hard reading some of those things:
“Once the clubbing capital of Europe and famous for its epic nights out”
hahaha Faliraki was once the clubbing capital of europe? seriously? who is writing those things?

“Rhodes clubbing holidays are back with a bang – bigger, better and busier than ever before”
“this clubbing classic certainly won’t disappoint.”
which bang please? half the bars are closed and the rest are totally empty.only liquid is a little bit more crowded and
its because its the only club in Faliraki that is not a total piece of shit! and the prices for this cheap and disgusting spirits & cocktails in general is totally not normal
everywhere on the barstreet and clubstreet

“Faliraki is all about serious fun. By night, party to the best tunes with world class DJs”
name me one world class Dj that is playing in Faliraki please.none of the would waste their time there!the djs playing there are maybe known to some villagers but no more

“And what a beach! Easily one of the best on the island, this long stretch of golden sand has got plenty of space, stacks of sunbeds and just about every water sport under the sun.”
there are dozens of amazing beaches on this island and Faliraki beach is not anywhere near them.In the main season there is huge crowds its totally loud and you cannot find a sunbed, people
are lying on their towels half meter from each other.its disgusting
Not to mention those ridiculous prizes for the watersports…

Faliraki is DEAD and is just another place for young drunk and cheap English people.Nothing more
Rhodos is beautifull but seriously if you want to enjoy your holiday stay away from Faliraki
