Things Not to Miss in Prague
This is one of my favorite cities in Europe. I already visited it twice but I still want to go back there. In my next visit, I will surely do some overnights in a luxury hotel in Prague. Czech Republic’s capital is a huge city with many interesting sights to see, restaurants to dine, nightlife to experience and many accommodations that will surely fit your budget. No wonder, Prague is the one of the world’s most popular tourists destinations.
If you are visiting Prague in the future, here are some things you need to experience;

Walk Around Prague Castle
I always love this part of the city, the Hradčany or the Prague Castle. This is one of the sights where you can have a good view of the city. You can find here the offices of the Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. In a hidden room inside the castle, the Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept. Never ask me where it is because I was never there inside. lolz..
I am glad that I also went inside the Saint Vitus Cathedral. It is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Prague, and the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. It has a Gothic architecture and is the biggest and most important church in the country.
Have A Walk Along Charles Bridge
For me, it is a must to walk along Charles Bridge or Karlův Most when visiting Prague. I did walked over it during my first and second visits. You can find kiosks, vendors, and traders on the bridge selling souvenirs and other items.
This historical bridge started its construction n 1357 and was commissioned by King Charles IV. It was finished in the beginning of the 15th century. It was originally called the Stone Bridge (Kamenný most) or the Prague Bridge (Pražský most) but has been the “Charles Bridge” since 1870. You can also find a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries, most of them baroque-style, originally erected around 1700 but now all replaced by replicas.

Never Miss the Old Town Square and the Clock
If you have been to Prague, you are surely familiar of the famous Astronomical Clock. It is mounted on the southern wall of Old Town City Hall in the Old Town Square. it is the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still working. Don’t miss the ceremony in this clock held every hour.
Among the sights to experience in the Old Town are the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn, the Powder Tower, the vaulted Gothic Old New Synagogue, Old Jewish Cemetery, Spanish Synagogue and more.

Experience The New Town or the Nove Mesto
I can still remember, this is where I did some souvenir shopping. You can find the largest medieval square in Europe at the New Town, which is the Charles Square. The historic Wesceslas Square, the neo-renaissance National Museum, the National Theatre and the deconstructivist Dancing House or Fred and Ginger Building are sights not to miss in the New Town.
If you are planning to do some overnights in Prague, check quality hotel Prague. They offer selections of accommodation that will fit your needs and budget.
In my next visit in Prague, I will surely do more shopping. I miss to buy Bohemian crystals in this city. I am collecting crystals and I know that Czech is famous for its Bohemian crystals. Another reason why I want to go back there is to go inside the Kafka Museum.
Enjoy your visit in Prague!
