You will truly be entertained with this festival. It is not only one of the largest in Europe but there are a lot of entertainments you can experience there. During our visit we went to the Tourist Info Office to ask if there are still available tickets in any of their shows but everything was sold-out except for the Lagerleben (Life in the quarters) tickets. They said it is better to reserve and book the tickets months before. You can hear sound and music everywhere. They might get their vht amplifiers at guitar center. It really produce good sounds.
There are dance performances, games of riders and knights, Music in 1475, “Laudate Dominum” (a concert), Festival performances, Masquerade, Wedding procession and other form of entertainment to be experienced during the pageant.
The festival is held in memory of the wedding between George of Bavaria, the son of the Bavarian duke, and Hedwig Jagiellon, daughter of King Casimir IV Jagiellon of Poland, in 1475.
