Wonderful Party is Over!
I can finally breath again! The past weeks were so busy considering the preparation for my big day. I am happy that the wonderful thanksgiving birthday party is over now. I believed everyone had a great time during that celebration. I celebrated parties during my birthday the past years but the one that happened last Saturday was the biggest one.

I already planned everything ahead of time. I already started listing all the things I need during the party. I started grocery shopping some weeks and even months before. I also did it to the decors during the party. Thanks to a good friend who cut the decorations and helped me decorating it. Some friends also helped me prepared he food and the table.
It was a lot of work for me since I did all of the cooking. I can’t imagine cooking for the first time over 10 kinds of delicacies. Mostly were Filipino foods and among the few ones I prepared were Adobo, menudo apritada, kilawen, dinuguan, lechon pork pata, sari-sari, pork with oyster sauce, liver adobo, pork soup, pancit, cucumber salad, lettuce salad, a German Schweinebraten or baked pork, knödel or potato dumplings with sauce, potato salad, grilled steaks, barbeque and chicken, and more. Some friends also brought their special dishes and sweets. Thanks to my friend Jo for my birthday cake. Wine, alcohol, sodas, cola mix, juice and beer were also served.

I was so happy seeing guests and visitors having fun during that birthday celebration. I believed they truly had a great time. American, Samoan, German and Filipino friends and some of their families were present during that event. It was the first time that I had over 60 people who celebrated with me my special day.
Lastly, thanks God for giving me the gift of life and for all the blessings and opportunities and all the good things in this world. Thanks also to all my family and friends who made it happened! You all rock and I love you all!
