You Only Talk To Him after Midnight
Imagine this: You text the guy you’re interested in on a Thursday alluding to his weekend plans. No reply. In fact, there’s no reply until the wee hours of Sunday morning in the form of a text that reads: hey gorgeous, what are you doing? (Note: I’m being generous with spelling grammar because reality says that this guy is probably drunk). There’s no way of pussyfooting around the harshness of what this truly means – you are his last resort. Before you make even more excuses, even in this technological age, there is nothing easier than sparing a quick thirty seconds for a text message.
He Won’t Let You Leave Things at His House
Spending a few nights a week at your new lad’s house? If he is seriously into you, he won’t mind if you leave behind a few essentials. But if he is pedantic about you leaving a measly toothbrush or a spare change of clothes, he is trying to hide you from other woman or his jetsetter wife. If this is the case, ask honestly about his situation, and if the answer isn’t to your liking, distance yourself immediately.
Doesn’t Want to Put Labels on Your Relationship
I’ll admit it, I’ve done this one. Putting a label on a relationship is a sign that things are serious enough to make it official. If he’s beating around the bush by saying that he’s not ready for a relationship or doesn’t want to discuss what the future holds for you, you can be assured he’s not looking for a commitment.
