Goodbye January, Hello Month of Love!
The first month of 2014 is almost ending. Some more hours and we are finally saying goodbye to January. I can’t imagine that time truly flies so fast nowadays. I am hoping that your January is a great one and your last day of the month, inspite of the many trials and problems we encountered this month, will let us keep on hoping that the coming days and months will be better for us all.
So far, I can say I am having a great month of January. I achieved little things that makes me happy and contented. Most of all, I am thankful that me and my family are all in good health and are safe from all harms and dangers. These are things that I am always praying.
There were also highlights for this month which are the following;
Booked my Flight to the Philippines
Yes, I am finally going home this year! It’s been such a long time since I did not paid a visit to my home country. It is almost four years now since I did not see my family in the Philippines. I am thankful to my sisters from the United States who paid for my ticket. Isn’t it amazing! Thanks to you and I will surely see you this year again. I was scouting for cheap ticket since October 2013. Since I still don’t know the exact time I will be flying home and I was also waiting for the exact dates my sisters will go home as well, I decided not to book it last year. During the first week of January when I asked a travel agency in Frankfurt about the cost of the ticket this spring season (Germany) and actually summer in the Philippines, they gave me the cheapest flight offer. Since the seats were also limited, I immediately decided to book it last January 3, 2014.
Visit to the Employment Office
After 6 years of staying at home, I finally decided to go to the Bundesangetur für Arbeit or Arbeitsamt (Employment Office) near our area. I want to ask help if they can find me a job or a training here in Germany. I normally want to study being a nurse or nursing aid or caregiver since these jobs are in need now in this country. The lady who is assigned in the office gave me a form to be filled-up, which I also did. After seeing that I have a Bachelors Degree in Commerce major in Accounting and a work experience at the bank for almost 9 years, she told me that it is better to have my papers evaluated. I might have the chance to find a better job as a professional in the field of banking and finance rather that in medical field. She printed a paper which will direct me to the right department who will evaluate my school certificates and job experiences. I am crossing my fingers and hoping that that my diploma and job experiences will be acknowledge.
Blessings from Blogland
I am thankful that I am doing good with my blogging. I hope that I am always given more inspirations, thoughts and ideas to blog more. I am also trying my best to make the most of time management so I can keep on sharing articles in my blogs. I just can’t thank God enough for all the blessings He gave me.
I am always a busy person and I never find a boring day at home. There are a lot of things to be done and I am glad that I am slowly moving on and finishing all these tasks and errands, both offline and online.
Hello Love Month!
