The differences between a good CPA and a less experienced bad CPA
2013 is over and the first quarter of 2014 is here. This is the time of the year to slowly prepare for tax papers in submitting Income Tax Returns to the IRS or Internal Revenue Service. Whether you are a self-employed individual, a business owner, a corporation or company, or an employee, you need to file your income tax every year in order to adhere with the laws especially on income taxation.
For some, they hire professionals like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) to assist and prepare their income tax. For individual who already have knowledge on how to prepare it, they just simply do the DIY or the “do it yourself” way to save some money.
There are various type of returns such as Individual Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Employment Taxes, Estate Tax and more. For example in preparation for Corporate Income Tax, the company must hire a knowledgeable CPA in order to have a just and honest result of tax papers like the financial statements of the company and other documents needed in submitting it.
Now, the great difference when hiring a good CPA and a less experienced bad CPA is that, the first one can present better and just results. Since a good CPA has more knowledge, they can do the job better with less supervision and probably with no errors. A Good CPA have more knowledge about the general accounting principles and the laws that governed it. He or she already knows what to do, due to the long experience he/she has in this field.
A less experienced CPA might still need more trainings due to lack of practical and theoretical knowledge. He/she might need more professional tax software training in order to do the right job like in the preparation of tax papers.
