Goodbye July, Hello Harvest Month
Hello folks how’s your July month doing? I hope you are having a good one especially today, the last day of the month. August is inevitable and it is coming in some hours, European time. In other parts of the globe especially in Asia, they are welcoming now the eight month of the year. Cheers to it!
So far, I have nothing to complain with or about something. July seems to be a good one for me. There are blessings coming in and even though it is not really that much but still, I am grateful about it. I am still lucky that I live in a place with democracy compared to other countries who are at war at the moment especially in the Gaza Strip and the chaos in Ukraine. Let’s continue to pray for peace in those places and in the whole world as well.
There were gatherings and get-together I attended this month. I had fun during those times seeing friends and acquaintances. I had also the chance to shop for summer sales. It is great to save money while shopping. lolz! Not that much but I am happy with what I bought. I also ordered a set of photography books. I bought it a birthday present for myself. I want to read I when I have time. I really have a great interest in photography and I hope I can learn more about it.
I also had the chance to chat with friends, FB friends and blogger friends especially in the United States and in the Philippines. Most of my blogger friends are already complaining about their earnings in blogging. I know some who already started new jobs since earning money in blogging like 5-6 years ago seems not happening again. This year is not really a year to earn money in the blogosphere. This is also the reason I ended up looking for a job. Oh well, this is life and we really need to work to earn a living.
And yes, next month, I will be turning another year younger. lolz! I don’t really bother about my age because I am always feeling young. haha! This year, there will be no big birthday party or celebration which I always do every year. I prefer to go for a trip in Europe and this time I will be visiting Poland. This will be my third visit in this country but the places I will be visiting are not the same as I visited before. Besides, my first visits were mostly pottery shopping and only a bit of sightseeing. This time will be more on seeing interesting places especially in the Silesia region in Poland.
This year will also be very different, I cannot make a lot of travels anymore compared to last year and the past years since I live here in Europe. I spent a lot of money during my 6-weeks vacation in Asia recently and it is time to save again for future travels. So far, 2014 was my most traveled year in Europe. My travel inventory says that I visited 22 countries and myriad places in Europe plus Germany with some of its cities.
I am also thankful because I will be entering another phase of my life. I will finally start a new job next month. I will see how this will be since it is not really related to my profession as a banker but I know I can do the job. I don’t really care about it and the most important thing is, I will be earning some money. I will save some for my travels, some will to my savings book and the others will be invested back home.
Over all, I am so very thankful about the good month of July. There are indeed many things to be grateful of, my family, friends, opportunities, blessings and most of all the breath of life that is given to me. Thanks God for everything!
Lastly, I wish you all a blessed harvest month of August. Take care folks.
I am off now to finalize my luggage. My birthday trip will commence so soon! Cheers!
