June was Quite a Good Month
Hello everyone! This is quite a late post but as the saying goes, “Better Late Than Never”, it is better to share some things than nothing at all. Overall, June was a good month for me. It was also a sad month because it was the time when my sweet vacation in Asia finally came to an end. The happy travels and memories were over now. I am just thankful that I came back to my second home again, whole and safe.
First Week:
Good that I keep a calendar of important activities I am doing everyday. I just got back in Europe during the first week of June. After some days of having some rest, I decided to go to the doctor for an annual check-up. Thanks God, there is really nothing serious. I just had a high blood pressure (140/90), which I believed was caused by over-fatigued and jetlag from that -week 6-week holiday in Asia. After some days, my blood pressure went back to normal (110/80).

June 7- Invited to a Friend’s Baby Shower
I was invited to a friend’s baby shower. For the first time, I finally had a good time again with friends during that baby shower party. Sumptuous foods were served, karaoke singing, wine drinking and chit-chatting were always present everytime there is a special gathering like that.

June 14- Shopping During Nacthmann Crystal Sale in Neustadt an der Wald Naab
Nachtmann is a famous name for fine Bavarian crystal. They have an annual sale which takes place every second or third Saturday of the year. You can check this website here, http://www.nachtmann.com/en/.
Honestly, I did not planned to go shopping for crystal again? But see what happened during my visit? I ended up buying again and again. Thanks to a dear friend for inviting me to make some wholes in my wallet again. haha..just kidding! Anyway, I am happy with all what I bought. I love collecting these stuffs and I promised, this is over now.
June 17- Appointment at the Unemployment Office
I believed it is time to hit the job market again. It is time to think for the future. My traveling life will be over for some years now and start to earn and save money again. The best place to contact in looking for jobs is the unemployment office. I hope they can help me with this.
June 27- Gynecology Appointment
It has been three years since my last appointment to the gynecology. The doctor told me that when a woman reaches 30, she needs an annual check-up. I am thankful, everything went fine.
June 28- Sommerfest/ Summer festival in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz
It was a lovely day and I had fun with friends and other ladies who attended this festival held every summer. As far as I can remember, the last time I was there was 6 years ago. Glad that I attended another party, where the organizer invited me to join this party again. As usual, yummy foods s especially Filipino delicacies were served.

So far, these are the highlights for June 2014 and I am thankful that it was a good month for me and I hope for you too!
