Had Fun at the Oktoberfest 2014 in Munich
Hello everyone! I am finally back here in blogland. The first weekend of October is here and I hope you are having a wonderful start of the month. I hope for the best to all of us and may this month brings joy, love and contentment to one and all!
Let me go back to the main topic before I sign-off tonight. I have some experiences to share about my recent visit to this festival but it seems that my time is limited now. Hopefully next time again. Oktoberfest is ending so soon and today is the last day of the biggest funfair in this planet. I am glad, I visited it again for the 5th time. How about you?
I would like to only share some photos I took during my visit with a friend last weekend. Here we go;
The Augustiner- Braü Garten, the beer tent of the Augustiner Brewery. It is a brewery in Munich, Germany. Established in 1328, it is Munich’s oldest still independent brewery and produces some of Munich’s most popular beers.
Ladies wearing the traditional Dirndl. It consists of a bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron.
The Bavarian Wheel, the ferris wheel at the Oktoberfest. This is my favorite ride everytime I visit any festivals in Germany.
View of Munich City and part of the Oktoberfest ground at the Theresienwiese during our ride at the Ferris Wheel. You can find the Frauenkirche with the 2 towers on the left side of this photo. It is currently under renovation during our visit. Some other churches are also visible.
Facts About the beer served at the Oktobefest;
