Hello 2015! What’s Up for this Year?
Happy New Year 2015! I know I am already very late in extending my greetings for this year. Good to know and I would say, “better late than never”. I am just too busy to greet you all earlier and I apologize for that. If you are my friends in social media, you might be able to read my greetings for 2015.
How’s the “Year of the Sheep” started with you guys? And yes, this year is called the “Year of the Sheep” according to Chinese Zodiac Sign. If you love Chinese Astrology, you might know some or all of the signs of the years.
I hope everything went great to you during the start of 2015. I cannot complain for now. On the first day of January, I was scheduled to go to work. It was not really bad. Some might be on a holiday leave since most countries are having a holiday on the first day of every year. It means, many were having their day-off that day. Sad to say, not for me. It is an extra money working during the holiday but if I have the choice, I rather stay home and relax.
I believed 2015 is and will be a good year for me. My optimistic attitude is telling me that this year will again be another good year. Of course, and in my belief with the help from “Up Above”, coupled with hard work, patience and determination, some dreams and projects will be accomplished this year. It might not be a perfect year and I know some trials and testings will come along the way, but they are part of our lives and it is up to us to deal with it.
Another Home Project Is Going On
There is a big project going on at the moment. I am building another home again. It started during the last week of November 2014. I am thankful that I already started a job last year, or else I cannot start with this project. My siblings are also helping me with it and I am truly grateful for their support and assistance.
A Trip for 2015 Is Already Booked
Last December 2014, I was asked to give the days when I want to take my vacation leave for the year 2015. I told the manager to give me some days to look for a trip somewhere. I just don’t want to stay at home during my vacation leave. After 5 days of searching for a trip, I submitted the days when I will be taking my vacation leave. Sad to say, the places on the trip where I really wanted to go were already fully booked.
Being a traveler and thanks God that I was given the chance to travel to over 40 countries and over a hundred of places worldwide, I always wanted to see and experience places.
I was ready to book a cruise trip to the Caribbean but the dates that I wanted to travel were all sold-out. I also would love to book a trip South America but the dates were also impossible. I miss those days and years when I can travel anytime and anywhere I want. I just need my laptop with me and I can already bring my whole office and can work everywhere as long as there is an internet connection. Nowadays, earning money online is already very slow. That is why I landed with this job below.
So where is this cruise trip for this year? Watch out for my next post!
A Job that is Not Really My Dream Job
I believed many people are working to support their daily basic needs. Some of them landed on jobs that are not really their dream jobs. I am one of them. Until now, I am still wondering, why I am here and what am I doing in this country? Imagine a banker for 9 years and with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and just landed in this kind of job? I have no choice for now and I have to do this job until some projects will be done. I am also saving some money to start a business in my home country. Hopefully, I can do this job in 5 years or until the projects will be materialized. Until now, I am still looking for a job that I really wanted but sad to say, in this part of the planet, I am nothing. Still, I am so thankful that despite living in Germany for some years now, I already accomplished many projects at home plus the travels I had during the past years, are among the greatest accomplishments I did in my life.
Lastly, I am very grateful that I am given the chance to face 2015. I welcome this year with more hopes, patience, positive energy, more successes and most of all good health for me, my family, friends and all those around me. I am very thankful for the past years in my life. There were years that were full of trials and problems and thank God, I am still surviving. I am indeed a “Leonine”.
Thanks God for the gift of life and there are so many reasons to celebrate it. Life is still beautiful!
