A Memorable Sunday
The weather was again foggy in the morning especially in our area. The past days, it was the same and I guess, this is also the effect why I am feeling a bit weak. In short, I want sunshine and I am thankful that I experienced it in the afternoon. For some, this cold and gray weather make them lonely and depressed. I might be feeling the same sometimes especially when I think that back home in my home country, the sun is shining the whole day. Oh my!… not the feeling of being homesick again!
A Plate of Sushi and Veggies during a buffet lunch today.
Today was a memorable day. I should be going out with my BFF yesterday. Remember it was Valentine’s Day yesterday and I know for sure couples, sweethearts and the whole family might had a special celebration for it. For those who are alone or still single, you really don’t need to worry. I believed Valentine’s Day should not be only celebrated by partners or couples but you can also celebrate it with your bestfriends, close friends or family.
Stayed at Home on Valentine’s Day
Since there are still a lot of leftovers inside the fridge, I and my BFF did not went out yesterday. We decided to consumed the foods I cooked the other day before it will be rotten. Besides, I know that the restaurants around the area will be filled with guests who will be celebrating the heart’s day. I was also not feeling so good and staying at home was the best choice. A glass of good-tasting French red wine was cheered last night. It was indeed a relaxing evening.
Belated Happy Valentine’s Day
It was quite awhile since we went for dining-out in a restaurant. I decided that we will go to a Chinese-Mongolian buffet. I know they serve seafoods on the weekend and during dinner buffet too. I was craving for my favorite fish, shrimps and vegetables. I did not really eat a lot of meat but only tasted chicken and a bit of this and that. Oh by the way, I had some sushi too! I was so full after that lunch buffet. My stomach was indeed happy and satisfied.

Visit to Walhalla
Since the restaurant is not too far this very beautiful neo-classical architecture called Walhalla, I told BFF to go there for a walk. We need to burn a bit of the calories we had from that sumptuous lunch.
“The Walhalla is named for Valhalla of Norse mythology. It was conceived in 1807 by Crown Prince Ludwig, who built it upon ascending the throne of Bavaria as King Ludwig I. Construction took place between 1830 and 1842, under the supervision of architect Leo von Klenze.”
The weather became friendlier that afternoon. The fog slowly subsided and the sun was shining fully. We had a walk around the building and I guess, I burned some calories from that little walk..lolz!
To give you a bit information about this amazing building, the Walhalla is a hall of fame that honors laudable and distinguished people, famous personalities in German history. It is located above the Danube River, east of Regensburg, in Bavaria, Germany.
I have been to this place for couple of times especially during summer but it was the first time that I visited it on winter. After taking some photographs of the place and the building, we decided to drive home.
It was so far a lovely and memorable day for me. It feels good going outside of the corners from our home and workplace. I know, I need it sometimes to gain more inspiration and energy. Since I started working, I don’t have enough time to go out with friends or go for sightseeing anymore. I am glad, today was just a lovely day.
How about you, how was your Sunday? Have a wonderful week again. And hey, belated happy Valentine’s Day!

Belated Happy Hearts Day! That buffet looks delicious! Hubby and I stayed at home too during that special day because we didn’t want to brave the crowds. It was still a wonderful evening even though there was no fancy restaurant involved. 🙂
