Multitasking Doing Home Chores
I can’t believe that we are now entering the middle of the month of March. I did not notice the fast passing of time. This is the result of being too busy. This week is quite a tiring week for me. I had a 6-day shift and I am not really a fan of waking up too early in the morning to go to work. I like it better the night shift. I guess, it is the night owl in me that always keep me staying late at night even though it is not really good. For some reasons, I have the problem of going to sleep immediately the past nights and these are for sure the reasons why I am too tired this week.
Anyway, I am finally happy because I have off this weekend. I woke-up at 7:00 in the morning and can’t go back to sleep anymore. But then, it took me almost two hours to get up and finally took my morning sessions.
After taking my tea ceremony paired with my favorite German pastry called Mandelbrezen, I decided to do some home chores. While cooking this German “Schweinebraten” (baked pork) in the oven, my laundry is also running. At the same time, I was also cleaning the three rooms at home, the bedroom, the guest room and the computer room. I also did some cooking.
This is always my chores everytime I have off from work. I am happy that I did not go grocery shopping anymore because I already did it last Thursday.
At around 2 PM, I took my lunch because I waited for the “Schweinebraten” to be cooked. My tummy was so happy after eating that meat paired with rice and veggies. I actually decided not to eat meat for around 2 weeks and I survived. But then, I miss eating it again.
At around 3:30 PM, I am already done with some home chores. I was so tired that I fall asleep at the couch and woke-up at around 6:00 PM. This is life abroad. You have to do everything, unless you have a lot of money to hire a housemaid.
I am glad that at my very young age, I was already taught how to do most of the home chores from laundry to cleaning, cooking, ironing, gardening and the like. Now, I am very happy to be an independent individual.
I guess, that is all for now. It is time to relax again and watch some programs on television. A glass of wine might be perfect while watching TV. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend! Cheers and take care guys!
