Thankful to Get a Permanent Job
Hello folks! How have you been? How was your first days of the month? I hope everything is doing great to all of you out there. It seems that yesterday when the month of June left us and here we come almost facing the middle of July. For now, I can’t complain for anything.
It is almost a year now since I started working. It is not really my dream job. It is even not related to what I studied in school (Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce majoring in Accounting) and my previous job experiences especially at the bank but it is still a job and better than nothing at all. I am glad that I am earning my own money again.
The garden in the first retirement home. I wish I am there right now.
With this job, I can realize more dreams and wishes and most of all another project. The reason why I am force to do this job at the US Army base here in Europe is to build my second retirement home. It is a long project that might take from 3-5 or even 7 years. I don’t want to borrow money or make a housing loan at the bank in building this home. From time to time I know this project will be done. Every payday, I am sending some amount in continuing the construction. Thanks also to my siblings who are helping me to materialize this project.
Construction as of last month in the second retirement home.
Last week, I was so happy because the Assistant Manager told me that I need to go to the personnel office to sign for the permanent job contract. Wow, it was overwhelming feeling inspite that I don’t really like the job. I really want to do the job that I did and learned before in my home country but sad to say, I cannot practice it here. Anyway, I am glad that I have the job permanently now.
For now, what I need a patience, hard work and perseverance. Time will come, I will also left this job. When that time comes, I guarantee that I have enough resources to go home for good in my home country and start my own business.
Lastly, thanks God for all your goodness and blessings despite my imperfection. I am always grateful for everything!
Until then folks. Have a lovely week to all of you.
