Highlights for the Harvest Month of August
I am so thankful that this blog is back to the blogosphere again! Thanks to the very helpful and efficient customer service of Bluehost Team, they made me a happy blogger. Something happened when I was updating it to the newest version of WordPress. Since I am not really a tech geek with regards to this matter, I asked for immediate help to Bluehost and it was fixed in less than an hour. Thank you guys!
The Rathaus or City Hall of Munich, the capital of the region of Bavaria in Germany. I can’t exactly remember how many times I did visited this beautiful city. I am quite sure over 10 times already.
Back to the main topic. My most favorite month of the year is almost over. Two more sleeps in this side of the planet and we will be entering the first BER month of 2015. When I say BER months, I refer to this as the months of September, October, November and December.
For now, let me share the highlight of the harvest month of August.
Sightseeing and Shopping in Munich
It was the first day of August, me and my friends decided to go to Munich. It was a fun day full of laughter and memories. We did not only did some sightseeing but shopping as well. The summer sale in Germany just began that time and it was a perfect timing to go hunting for the best offer.
One of my friends did a luxury shopping at Louis Vuitton shop. Two years ago, we also went to the same store to buy these luxury bags. Since my birthday was approaching that time, I pampered myself and also bought me a Louis Vuitton bag. This time, I avoid the temptation of buying one since there are priorities for money. I just bought some souvenirs and some shirts that were on sale in C&A store. I was happy with what I got.
Updates with Home Projects
I am quite happy seeing more improvements with the project. The first floor of the house is starting to have walls and floors now. After the ceiling was constructed, I can already slowly see a form of the house. This is a slow project since financial aspect is not really that much. Every payday, I am sending some amount to slowly build it. I don’t really want to borrow money of take a loan from the bank to finance its construction. Hopefully in 5 years, it will be finished. Maybe that time, I already go home for good…in God’s will.
A simple but sumptuous dinner during my big day.
A Simple Celebration of my Birthday
I turned another year younger again. lol! Age really does not matter for me. As long as I am always feeling young and healthy, I just forget the passing of years every time my birthday come. It was only a simple dinner I prepared for me and my bestfriend. I no longer host the big parties every year compared to the past years. Since I started working, I don’t have much time anymore to cook and prepare for my party. Before when I was a full time blogger and work most of the time at home, I used to have big parties inviting up to 70 people in my birthday. I so grateful for another wonderful year added in my life. My great wishes; health, happiness, peace here on earth, love, contentment and more travels. Well, what you can do with the travel bug that infected me so bad. I just wish I can visit all the countries in planet earth. Thanks God, I have been to 46 countries as of now.
One Year in the Workplace
August also marked the one year anniversary in my job. It is not really my dream job but better that nothing. If not because of this home project that I have, I will not take it. Still, I am very thankful.
Submission of Work Applications for Other Positions
I submitted 3 applications this month. The job and pay are better in these jobs. I already got a reply of one job saying that I am qualified for it. I am hoping and praying, I will get one of those jobs.
The Next Travels
I can’t really wait for the next travels to come. In over a month for now, I will be hitting the road again. It is just a 10-day travel in the Balkan Peninsula, visiting some countries.
Busy With Offline and Online Tasks
I still did not give up being a blogger. Since the crisis that hit most bloggers nowadays (or maybe only me), I still continue blogging. I know some fellow bloggers who already gave up blogging because they are not earning good money from it anymore. Compared to the years 2008-2012, earning money thru blogging was really good. I am glad, I can still continue to blog and can afford to pay my hosting and domains.
I am also busy with offline jobs like doing home chores and running errands. Sometimes, it really makes me so exhausted plus the job that I am doing right now.
I guess, that is all for the highlights of August. Lastly, I am really thankful for this wonderful harvest month. I can’t wait for the rest of the 2015 to be more wonderful months. Thanks God for everything.
I also wish everyone in advance a blissful and awesome month of September.
Until then and best regards,
Ruby
