The First Shopping Escapade for 2016
Shopping, shopping, shopping! We all know that many of us ladies and women out there love this word. I even heard from some friends that shopping is there therapy. I guess, therapy for loneliness especially when we are working abroad and shopping is only one of our outlets to cure it. I believed it is not a bad idea but hey watch out for your pockets and credit cards not to overspend. Be sure to stay in your budget or else you may get broke!
One of my favorites malls in Regensburg, Bavaria, the Donau Einkaufszentrum or Danube Shopping Mall.
I have to admit, I also love shopping. I would say, I am a frugal shopaholic since I only buy items that are on sale. Unless I really love a certain thing like a pair of shoes or clothing, I would surely buy it no matter what the price is and I have a budget for it.
Exactly two weeks ago from now, I did my first shopping escapade for this year 2016. I was looking for a pair of winter boots to be used for work. Before I drove to my favorite shopping mall, I was already thinking that there might be some sale going on since Christmas and New Year just passed by.
In fact, I was not mistaken. I found the winter boots that I like with a brand name. It was already a great deal having it for 40% cheaper off the regular price. I also love the color. On my way to the parking lot, I happened to pass-by some winter accessories. I was thinking twice whether to buy that beautiful knitted red thinsulate Esprit hat and a beautiful scarf. Since they were also on sale for almost the half price, I ended up buying it. Some shirts and blouses also did not escaped my taste and I bought some of it since the prices were also reduced. I save almost the half of the total costs.
It was a lovely Saturday I had during that shopping escapade in the nearby city. I only did not got cheap prices but I also had fun gallivanting in that shopping mall.
