3 Free Activities to Enjoy in Seattle
Seattle real estate agents are in your corner when it comes to finding a good deal on a new condo for you and your family. Once you have decided to move and pick out the perfect new home, you’ll probably only want to do one thing after you’ve made your purchase: save some money.
When you’re moving to a new location, you don’t want to wind up sitting indoors all day because you’re trying to pinch pennies after a big move, but spending a ton of money on restaurants and activities isn’t ideal either. Because the city of Seattle has so much to offer its residents, there are ways to save on expenses while still enjoying time out on the town.
The Frye Art Museum is a free place for you and your family to visit — and the parking is free too! The museum shares the collection of Charles and Emma Frye, which includes over 1,000 paintings. The museum also spices up the displays by presenting the artwork through different mediums, including musical performances, poetry, and more.
The Northwest Folklife Festival, which occurs in May and happens every year, brings musicians, artists and other creators together to share their talents with anyone who attends. In 2015, the festival had over 2,000 members of community join to see the performers put on a show!
Check the Seattle Center out for local listings and to see what’s happening in the area that is completely free! While all of the events are not free of admission, the ones that are can be worth looking into — such as the Irish Festival or the Polish Festival, both of which occur at different times of the year.
Saving money doesn’t always have to be a boring experience for you and the family. Even without spending a dime, there is always something to do in the beautiful city of Seattle.
