You’ve Only Got 60 Minutes to Escape

How would you like to find yourself in a creepy room that you need to escape from? Now, imagine that in order to escape you have to solve a variety of clues, puzzles, and mysteries and you’ve only got 60 minutes to complete the task. Escape rooms are one of the hottest trends right now and are best done with a group of friends. This one is bound to get your adrenaline pumping.

A Tour of Rhodes Hall

Atlanta is home to a rather large number of homes that are said to be haunted, and this can be attributed to the fact that the city itself is quite old. Rhodes Hall is known to residents as “the castle on Peachtree” and is also one of the most haunted houses in the city. The house is more than 100 years old, as it was built back in 1904 by Amos Rhodes.

Today it is popular as a wedding venue and the upper floors are home to The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Not to worry though, you can still sneak a peek thanks to the regular tours that are offered. Some of the paranormal activity that is said to have taken place here includes the lights going on and off and people hearing voices.

Book a Ghost Tour

If you’re not satisfied with just one attraction, why not book a ghost tour in the city? The city actually draws in ghost hunters all year round, so you don’t have to wait until Halloween to catch the bug.

Some of the more popular ghost tours include the Dalton Ghost Tour that is a 90-minute walking tour around the Wink Theatre district in Dalton; the Covington Ghost Tour which focuses on TV and movie film locations that have ended up being investigated by various paranormal experts; and the Windsor Hotel History Haunted Tour, which is another guided tour. There are many others that you can find, as Atlanta seems to be filled with haunted locations.
