Your home’s basement is a vital part of your house’s overall structure. It prevents your home from sinking into the ground. It also provides shelter from storms and additional storage or living space. As sturdily as your basement may have been constructed, however, chances are that at some point it will need to be repaired or upgraded. It is almost ending and I am slowly saying goodbye to this unique month of February. Why unique? 2016 is a leap year, also known as an intercalary year or a bissextile year. Being a traveller, having been to over 40 countries, I am hoping that in the future I have more chance to explore most of Southeast Asia especially Philippines, the country where I was born and raised.
